Mystic outsider
Elspeth the Herbalist lives slightly at the edge of ordinary village life, which is part of why so many people seek her out. She knows roots, leaves, remedies, and the old lore that lingers where official knowledge grows thin.
Some in Glen Moarg think her uncanny. Others think her merely practical in ways they do not fully understand. Elspeth herself does little to correct either impression.
She brings an air of mystery to The Last Pint Inn, but also a deeper sense that the land remembers more than people do. She is a keeper of older ways of seeing: attentive to weather, illness, instinct, and the half-spoken fears others carry.
Visitors may find Elspeth unsettling, comforting, or both at once. That is often how truth arrives.
